Not many things are going to get our attention as quickly as the words – “Skull Workshop”. Like a shot we were at Shoreditch House to attend the event hosted by Lauren Baker, an artist who works with mosaics onto human and deer skulls. Her work has been on display in the Tate Modern and we the spent the evening in her company getting lightly covered in paint, glue, glitter and gold leaf.
Laurens latest project, a 35,000 Swarovski crystal studded tiger head (not from an actual tiger) was auctioned for £10,500 for the tiger conservation charity Save Wild Tigers.
